Welcome to Coqui - a community-driven safety application created to help people look out for each other.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Coqui mobile application (the "App") and our website located at www.juntospodemos.life (the "Site"). Together, the App and the Site are referred to as the "Service." These Terms form a binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and AMZN1 LLC, doing business as Coqui ("Coqui," "we," "us," "our"), including all of our affiliates and subsidiaries.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Community Guidelines and our Copyright Policy, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
We also encourage you to review our separate Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use and protect information when you use the Service. Although the Privacy Policy is not part of these Terms, it is an important part of operating Coqui with transparency and integrity.

The Service is provided by AMZN1 LLC, a company incorporated under the laws of the State of New York and headquartered in Westchester County, New York (Registration Number: 514100056). Coqui was created to empower communities - especially immigrant and vulnerable populations - with tools for safety, awareness and mutual support.

Always follow official instructions. Coqui does not replace or override traffic signs, laws or governmental warnings. Respect road laws and drive responsibly.
Do not drive while reporting. If you are behind the wheel, do not interact with the Service unless your vehicle is safely parked. Passengers may submit reports when it is safe to do so.
Community-based updates. Our Service depends on reports from users like you. This information may be incomplete, late or inaccurate, and we do not guarantee its accuracy.
Location-based functionality. To provide certain features, Coqui uses location data (e.g., GPS). You can find details on how this information is handled in our Privacy Policy.
Advertising. You may see advertisements while using the Service. These are not endorsed by Coqui and should never be interacted with while driving.
Data charges. Using Coqui requires an internet connection. Any mobile data charges or related fees are your responsibility.
Minimum Age Requirement. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If we discover that a user is under the age of 16, we may suspend or delete the account.

About the Service
Coqui is a community navigation and awareness application that allows users to mark and share the presence of relevant events or activities in real time. Whether it's identifying a favorite food truck, marking a peaceful protest or simply pinpointing the location of a bald eagle for other bird lovers, Coqui helps people stay informed, connected and safe.
The application relies on user-submitted reports and collaborative verification, offering an anonymous and decentralized tool for real-world visibility. Coqui is designed to serve diverse communities, particularly those that can benefit from increased situational awareness in uncertain times.
License to use the Service
Coqui grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service, including the App and the Site, only for personal, non-commercial purposes, and only in accordance with these Terms. This license is provided free of charge and is subject to Coqui's right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access at any time in the event of misuse or violation of the Terms.
Acceptable Use
You may only use Coqui for private and individual purposes. Any commercial exploitation of the Service is strictly prohibited, unless you receive prior written permission from Coqui.
Prohibited commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
Offer a service that depends on or incorporates Coqui;
Resell access to the Service;
Rent, lease or sublicense the Service;
Integrate the Service into any public platform or third party product.
You also agree not to copy, print, download or extract content from the Service database for any purpose other than the personal and temporary use intended by the application.
Automated data collection, scraping, indexing or data mining is prohibited in all circumstances. You may not use bots, spiders or similar tools to access, copy or interact with any internal Service system or database without Coqui's express written permission.
Prohibited Conduct
In order to maintain a safe, respectful and trustworthy environment, the following activities are strictly prohibited. Violating any of these rules may result in termination of your access to the Service and may result in legal liability:
You accept no:
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or replicate any part of the Service or its content;
Reproduce or distribute any of the content of the Service on external websites, networks or platforms without prior consent;
Use frames, inlines or visual wrappers to replicate or integrate any part of the Service elsewhere;
Violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of another user or third party;
Collect, store or share personal information about others without their consent, including the use of automated tools to collect user data;
Harassing, threatening, defaming, persecuting or abusing any individual or group;
Upload or distribute malware, viruses, spyware or harmful software through the Service;
Disrupt or interfere with the operation of the Service, including tampering with servers, networks or data streams;
Sell, sublicense or commercially exploit access to the Service or its content;
Frame, mirror or replicate the Service without written authorization;
Create massive databases or offline copies of the Service's content through systematic downloads;
Forwarding or sharing user-generated data without express consent;
Use profane, offensive or inappropriate language, especially in reports or user interactions;
Knowingly submitting false or misleading reports, or abusing map editing tools;
Share, assign or transfer your account credentials or password to third parties, even on a temporary basis;
Use the Service for illegal, unethical or unauthorized purposes;
Use the Service or any content provided through the Service for commercial purposes without Coqui's prior written permission;
Violate any part of these Terms, directly or indirectly.
Termination of Service
You may stop using the Service at any time and for any reason - no notice is required.
However, Coqui reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to all or part of the Service, in its sole discretion and without notice, especially in cases of:
Misuse,
Policy violations, or
Activities that may compromise the security or integrity of the platform, our community or our legal obligations.
User Generated Content
The Coqui platform allows users to submit real-time updates, location markers and other types of information (collectively, "User Generated Content"). This content is distinct from any advertising or platform-generated material, and includes postings such as location sightings, safety alerts or event information.
You are solely responsible for any User Generated Content you choose to submit. Coqui does not claim ownership of your contributions, but you assume full responsibility for the content and its consequences once posted.
Safety First When Using the Service
DO NOT post content while driving a vehicle. For your safety and the safety of others, you may only submit User Generated Content:
When your vehicle is legally stopped, or
If sent by a passenger whose actions do not interfere with or distract the driver.
Prohibited Content
To ensure that Coqui remains a respectful and safe platform for all, the following types of content are strictly prohibited:
Any content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or proprietary rights of third parties;
Content that compromises the safety, identity or health of any person;
Personally identifiable information about individuals, especially minors, without their clear written consent;
Material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, invasive of privacy, threatening, offensive or vulgar;
Content that promotes or endorses hate speech, discrimination or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, political beliefs or economic status;
Content that encourages criminal conduct or may result in civil liability;
Unsolicited commercial promotions, advertisements, pyramid schemes or spam;
Content that falsely suggests or states that it is sponsored or endorsed by Coqui.
These examples are not exhaustive. We reserve the right to moderate, remove or block any content that violates these standards or undermines the purpose of the platform.
Content Moderation and Application
Coqui reserves the right - but not the obligation - to remove, restrict or refuse to post any content that we determine violates these Terms, infringes the rights of third parties or poses a risk to the Service or its users.
Violation of these guidelines may also result in the suspension or permanent termination of your access to the Service.
Rights to User Generated Content
By submitting content to the Coqui platform, you represent and warrant that:
You own all necessary rights to the content;
You have permission to share and publish such content;
You authorize Coqui to use, reproduce and distribute the content in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of your User Generated Content. However, by submitting it, you grant Coqui and its users a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license to use, modify, display, distribute and perform the content for both personal and commercial purposes.
Other users may only use your content for non-commercial purposes, unless Coqui grants explicit permission to the contrary.
Content Review and Moderation
Coqui reserves the right to review, monitor or remove user-submitted content, either before or after posting, at its sole discretion. Although we do not normally engage in ongoing moderation, we may act to prevent the posting or facilitate the removal of content that violates these Terms, is misleading or inappropriate, or may cause harm to the platform or its community.
Coqui makes all editorial decisions about what content is published, where and how it appears within the Service, and for how long. Not all content will be published, and no content is guaranteed visibility for any specific period of time.
The content posted does not represent the views of Coqui, and its appearance on the Service should not be considered an endorsement of its accuracy, legality or reliability.
If you choose to share comments, suggestions or ideas with us - such as improvements or new features - we are free to use and implement your input without compensation or obligation to you.
Communications
To operate and maintain the Service, we may send you updates, alerts, administrative messages or other important communications. These messages may be related to your use of the app or community-related announcements. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
All right, title and interest in and to the Coqui Service - including the app, website, code, databases, content and design - are the exclusive property of Coqui (AMZN1 LLC) or its licensed affiliates. This includes all copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, patents and other intellectual property rights.
You may not use the Coqui name, logo or any of our visual or brand elements without prior written permission.
The maps, interface and general "look and feel" of the Coqui platform are protected by intellectual property laws. The limited license granted to you does not include rights to reuse, copy or reproduce these materials beyond personal and lawful use. Copying, printing or storing more than one copy of any material from the Service is strictly prohibited.
Coqui may use technological tools to prevent unauthorized use of the Service. You agree not to disable, circumvent or interfere with these protections. Any such attempt may result in immediate termination of your license and access.
Apple Users
If you access Coqui through an Apple device, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Apple, Inc. is not responsible for the operation or support of the Service.
You waive any claims against Apple related to your use of the Service, including warranties or liabilities.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as such.
Export Compliance
By using the Service, you represent that:
You are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as "supporting terrorism";
You are not listed on any U.S. government restricted party list.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Coqui Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties - express or implied - about:
Marketability or fitness for a particular purpose;
Accuracy or reliability of maps, location data or reports submitted by users;
Availability, security or uninterrupted performance;
Fulfillment of your expectations.
Coqui does not guarantee that the Service will be free of bugs, viruses, hacks, hardware failures or loss of data. Community-based reporting systems are inherently imperfect - some of the information may be inaccurate, outdated or misleading.
You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and the decisions you make based on it.
Never rely on the Service for official traffic laws, signs, police directions or other real-world signals.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coqui - including its founders, team members, partners and affiliates - shall not be liable for:
Any direct or indirect damage;
Loss of profits, data or business;
Hardware or software failures;
Inaccurate or false user submissions;
Suspension or deletion of your account;
Your interaction with other users;
Third-party advertising or content.
In all cases, your sole remedy will be limited to discontinuing use of the Service or seeking corrections where appropriate.
Advertising and External Links
The Service may display advertisements or promotional messages ("Ads"), including posted commercial locations or commercial offers. Advertisements may be provided by Coqui or third party vendors.
Coqui does not endorse any Ads or advertisers, and we are not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from your reliance on or interaction with such Ads.
Some parts of the Service may also link to third-party websites or platforms. We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability or security of those external sites or services.
Never interact with Ads while driving a vehicle. You are solely responsible for driving safely. Coqui and its partners disclaim all liability for incidents resulting from distracted driving.
Default and Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Coqui, its directors, employees, partners and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages or costs (including legal fees) arising from:
Your violation of these Terms;
Your misuse of the Service;
Any content you submit or actions you take on the platform.
This indemnity applies regardless of whether the problem is direct or indirect, monetary or reputational, and reflects the fact that Coqui is offered free of charge and relies on responsible use.
Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store and use your data while you use the Service. This policy is updated periodically - we recommend that you review it regularly.
Disclaimer of Liability
By using Coqui, you agree to indemnify and hold Coqui, its team, partners, service providers and any company identified as a Coqui Ally harmless from any claim, damage, loss or legal action (including those of governmental or civil authorities) arising out of your use of the application or your interactions with the listed companies.
Likewise, any company or organization identified as a Coqui Ally and marked on the Coqui map indemnifies and holds Coqui and its affiliates harmless from any claim, damage or legal action resulting from its participation, inclusion or conduct related to Coqui.
These protections apply regardless of negligence and remain in effect after termination of use or participation.
Service Updates
We may make changes to the Service, features or design at any time without notice. This includes modifying or removing certain features or tools. You agree that Coqui is not responsible for any problems, errors or limitations caused by these changes.
We also reserve the right to discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, temporarily or permanently.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the Service or on our website.
Your continued use of the Service after the updates means that you agree to the new Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and delete it from your device.
Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. Any legal dispute relating to the Service or these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the State of New York.
Limitations
If you wish to file a legal claim against Coqui related to your use of the Service, you must do so within one (1) year from the date you became aware (or reasonably should have become aware) of the event giving rise to the claim.
Failure to initiate legal action within this period will result in the permanent waiver of your right to claim and will be considered time-barred.
Assignment of Rights
You may not assign, transfer or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without Coqui's prior written consent.
However, Coqui reserves the right to assign or transfer its rights and responsibilities - in whole or in part - to a third party at its sole discretion, provided that such third party agrees to fulfill Coqui's obligations to you under these Terms.
Complete Agreement
These Terms, together with the Coqui Community Terms of Service and our Copyright Policy, represent the complete and final agreement between you and Coqui regarding the use of the Service. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to this subject matter.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any summary, FAQ, or explanation in the application during installation or incorporation, these Terms shall prevail.
No Legal Relationship
Your use of the Service, including the submission of Content, does not create any formal relationship between you and Coqui. Specifically, nothing in these Terms should be construed as creating:
A partnership,
A joint venture,
An agency relationship,
An employer-employee relationship, or
A franchise agreement.
Your contributions to the Service are entirely voluntary and made for your benefit and the benefit of the community. Your sole compensation is access to and use of the Service in accordance with these Terms.
