Privacy policy.
December 25, 2024
At Coqui, your privacy is not only protected: it is structurally integrated into the design of our platform.
We believe that the best way to protect data is not to collect it at all. Therefore, Coqui has been intentionally designed to avoid collecting personal information. There are no user accounts, no profiles, and no login sessions. We do not request or store names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers or any other personal identifiers. Usernames are automatically generated and anonymized.
Since there is no identifiable data linked to user activity, there is no trace - not even under forensic investigation.
What we do NOT collect
No third-party analysis
No ad trackers or SDKs
No cookies
No GPS, IP logging or metadata storage
No behavioral profiling or monitoring
Coqui does not integrate any advertising technology. We do not track, record or infer user behavior, location or identity. This includes usage data from messages, reports, uploads or navigation within the app.
How we protect your business
All user actions - such as sending, messaging and uploading - are encrypted during transmission using TLS (Transport Layer Security). This guarantees that data cannot be intercepted or altered, and ensures that content is only sent to its intended destination. We do not use backdoors or insecure backup methods.
Private groups and communities
Coqui Communities are by invitation only and are not publicly visible. Access is granted through private links shared by trusted organizers. Coqui does not log, track or monitor group invitations or activity. Groups operate independently and are isolated by design.
Moderation and protection against abuse
To minimize misuse, Coqui includes automated moderation systems that detect and flag anomalous behavior. Users identified as malicious actors can be shadow banned, limiting their visibility without notification. Administrators of private groups can manage access in real time.
While no system is completely immune to abuse, these protections are designed to reduce the risk and impact of coordinated outages.
Key principles to remember
We do not collect, store or expose user location data.
Reports reflect the location of the event, not the reporter.
The application does not have access to GPS, IP-based geolocation or device metadata.
Coqui was developed in collaboration with Rapid Response Networks and community organizers in the US.
Independent security experts conduct periodic audits and penetration tests to identify and correct potential vulnerabilities.
Our commitment to security is based on three principles:
Minimum data exposure, operational isolation and transparency.
What we do collect (during payments only)
The only time we process personal information is if you choose to make a donation on our website. In these cases:
We only collect the information necessary to process the transaction (e.g. name, email address).
We do not retain or store this information after the transaction is completed.
We do not use cookies or tracking tools of any kind.
Coqui accepts donations through third-party services - such as PayPal or Venmo -that handle transactions using industry-standard encryption protocols.
Coqui never retains or accesses your payment information from these providers.
Policy Updates
If our data practices change at any time, we:
We will update this Privacy Policy accordingly
We will post the revised version on www.juntospodemos.life
We will notify users through the Coqui app if the changes are significant.
